woo!

Well it has been almost 2 months since I posted, oops. Life has been non-stop. My to-do list is always a mile long and I rarely cross anything off it. One day I’ll be able to stay on top of the dishes and laundry and move on to other tasks.

Here is some of what we have been up to.

Felicity is trying so hard to crawl, but just can’t quite put it all together yet. She can get bottom in the air and even stand on her feet, forming an A, but hasn’t quite gotten the moving arms and legs together part yet. She is spending her days trying to figure it out. She can also almost get from her belly to sitting. She is also mostly sitting.

We went to lunch with Santa at Greta’s school a few weeks ago. The older two have grown to like Santa, but the younger two still want nothing to do with him.

Beatrice turned 3 yesterday! She rather enjoyed her birthday and spent most of the day in her new Elsa costume. (Help mama, I’m stuck).

Both Greta and Eloise had their concerts at school. Eloise was definitely the loudest in her class!

We cut down and decorated our tree. Our tree is in the playroom this year and so far it is working out just fine.

I finally got our Christmas cards in the mail this past weekend, so for now, here are some of the runnerups of a Christmas picture.

Matt and I are super excited about the girls’ Christmas gift. We are reorganizing the basement and Matt built a slide platform to go with a 10 ft slide we found in the neighbors trash (my favorite!). We also have a gym mat and balance beam thing. We will also be relocating a few other active toys down there, to hopefully give them some outlet for all their energy over the winter. Matt has convinced them of many different things he is building down there, first bunkbeds so they won’t wake us up all night long, next a cage for our new pet gorilla. We are quite excited for them to see it all on Christmas morning.
