For those who haven't had the opportunity to see Jesus Camp yet, it will be on tv tomorrow!
It will be on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at 10 pm Eastern time on A & E. Watch it and be afraid.
P.S. We are in our house. We still have a few things to get out of the apartment: shoes and kitchen stuff. The fridge is being delivered today, so we will soon have food in the house. Pictures and more details coming soon.

The house is ours! We signed our names a bunch of times and somehow the keys are ours. For those who haven't seen the tour here it is (just a warning, something happened to the sound in uploading, so it doesn't exist).
There is still lots to do. Stuff is moved from storage. Next week stuff will be moved from the apartment. Washer and dryer will be delivered next week. Still need to order a refrigerator. We have mailboxes down the street, so apparently we have to get a key from the post office. That should be fun standing in line for, especially on one of the busiest mailing days of the year. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday with their loved ones.

A few months ago I got rid of my black boots. They were comfy and good for snow/ice/mud walking. They were kind of falling apart so I gave them up in order to be able to get a new pair of shoes (we have a one in one out rule for shoes in our house). I wasn't thinking very far ahead though. Later this week I am headed to Vermont for my baby sister's college graduation. It is going to be cold and possibly snowy there. The other problem I have is that I have to look nice for graduation and dinner, so I can't wear my normal outfit of jeans and tshirts, which I could easily wear with my brown boots. Since I have a little bit of a belly these days (not very big, but too big for my old dressy pants), I had to buy some new pants, so I went with basic black pants. But now I have no shoes to wear. I have looked at my usual shoe purchasing locations of Marshalls and Target and have not found anything. Sure they have some boots with big heels, but I am clumsy on a good day, add in some ice and I am sure to fall, which wouldn't be so good with a baby on board. My mom said that my sister has some boots I can wear, but she failed to mention what color they are. I may just have to wait and get some in Vermont, because apparently no one down here wears boots besides cowboy boots.
The next few weeks will be quite busy. Thursday through Monday I am in Vermont. Tuesday we close on the house. Wednesday I (along with some hired help) will be moving stuff from the storage unit to the house. Friday I leave for Pennsylvania for the holidays. Matt leaves on Saturday for PA. We come back on Wednesday. My aunt and uncle are coming to help move our apartment on Friday. It all ends with us having to be completely moved out of the apartment by Dec. 31. The cat is going to go crazy being alone so much, but hopefully he will survive.

I have several planned posts, but they are mostly boring and so I haven't gotten around to writing them. Today my aunt is coming to visit from Houston. We are going to the huge outlet mall tomorrow. As of now, we are buying the house. I am going over there today, so I will take some pictures. We are scheduled to close on the 18th of December (I think). We will partially move before we leave for the holidays and complete the move after Christmas, but before the 31st when we have to be out of the apartment. I have a doctor's appointment today. No idea what will actually happen at today's doctor's appointment. I haven't gained any weight yet, in fact I lost a few pounds, mainly because I have been eating better and healthier than before, not nearly as much candy and junk food. That's all for today, maybe there will be more soon.
